A Place In Time

Times were nicer back then
When I didn't have to worry about the important things
It was fun just running around the yard
Screaming my head off as the other children chased me
I miss those times
The times where you could be free of responsibility
And count on those around you to make ends meet
Where you thought it was awesome to get a cut on your knee
By falling off your bike when you were riding to fast
Instead of placing the cuts someplace on your skin
